Why Partner With Us?
As the official host of Dining Out For Life in Connecticut, the Health Collective has the unique opportunity to expand vital services—HIV prevention, healthcare access, and community support for LGBTQIA+ individuals and others disproportionately impacted by HIV.
Our legacy is built on action. Since 1983, we’ve helped lead the fight against HIV/AIDS in Connecticut:
- First in the state to offer comprehensive HIV testing and support.
- First to provide oral healthcare for people living with HIV/AIDS.
- Still leading the way—but there’s more work to be done.
How Your Restaraunt Can Make a Difference
- Sign up to be a participating restaurant.
- Enjoy extensive promotion—your restaurant will be featured in local and regional media.
- Host diners on April 24th, when thousands in the community will dine out to support the cause.
- Give back—donate at least 25% of food and beverage sales during your chosen participation times (breakfast, lunch, dinner, after-dinner, or all day). You can choose to give more!
Become an Ambassador
We are also seeking ambassadors to serve as volunteers on the ground on August 28th.
- Represent the Health Collective during the event at a restaurant partner
- Talk about your passion for fighting HIV and raise money
- Engage with diners and welcome them!
Your Impact
LGBTQ+ youth will see possibility where they once saw hardship.
Trans individuals will find care where they once faced rejection.
Families will be protected, and the next generation will grow up in a more just, compassionate, and inclusive world.
