Fantasy Ball: Queer Prom 2026!

Join us on Friday, June 26th from 5–9 PM at the beautiful Mark Twain House & Museum for an unforgettable evening created for all Connecticut high school students. Whether your fantasy look is royal, whimsical, ethereal, gothic, or completely your own, this is your chance to show up exactly as you are and celebrate it. Expect a night filled with music, dancing, and magical moments in one of Connecticut’s most iconic spaces.

Tickets are offered on a sliding scale, with a $10 standard rate. If you’re able to give more, your support helps keep this event accessible to others. If cost is a barrier, please don’t hesitate to reach out to

Celebrating 32 Years of Pride, Joy, and Authenticity 

Queer Prom is more than just a dance, it's a legacy. Established in 1994, Queer Prom is Connecticut’s oldest prom and the second-oldest Queer Prom in the country. For over three decades, it has served as a powerful tradition of affirmation, inclusion, and celebration for LGBTQIA+ youth.

Who is it for?

This special event is designed for Connecticut high school students, offering a safe, empowering space where young people can be their authentic selves and connect with peers in the LGBTQIA+ community. 

Accessibility

As part of our ongoing commitment to accessibility and inclusion, we’re proud to offer a dedicated sensory room in partnership with Q-Plus. This space is designed to provide a calm and supportive environment, ensuring all attendees feel safe, comfortable, and empowered to enjoy the evening.

Safety First

Queer Prom is supervised by trained volunteers who undergo Department of Children and Families (DCF) background checks, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment for all youth.
