PRIDEFEST, Hartford’s iconic family friendly celebration of LGBTQ+ identity, unity, and culture, is entering an exciting new era. Now under the leadership of The Health Collective, formerly the Hartford Gay and Lesbian Health Collective, this year’s festival will bring bold energy, vibrant community, and unforgettable moments.
In partnership with CLARO (Connecticut Latinos Achieving Rights and Opportunities), which has led the festival for the past 16 years, The Health Collective will produce the 2025 PRIDEFEST and on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, on Pratt Street & Trumbull, Downtown Hartford.

Safety Statement
- Prepare for the day: Wear sunblock, bring water, and pack snacks. Dress for the weather and pace yourself throughout the event.
- Look out for each other: If you came in a group, stay connected. As community members, please also extend kindness and awareness to others in the crowd.
- Protester safety: Do not engage with protesters and do not touch individuals / protesters. Staff and volunteers are trained to handle these situations.
- Support available: Pride staff and volunteers will be stationed throughout the event to provide assistance. Please be aware that Police will also be present on site for safety.
- Emergencies: For urgent medical or safety issues, find a staff member, volunteer, or police officer right away (identifiable by clothing). In a true emergency, call 911.
- Respect the space: Together, we can make Hartford Pride a safe, affirming, and joyful celebration for all.
